Our 10 month old dachshund had severe separation anxiety. She was being very destructive to the point where she chewed a hole in our linoleum floor! We tried crate training her but small spaces seem to be a fear of hers (who knows what happened to her before we adopted). We started feeding her one of these treats in the morning before we leave for work and she mostly sleeps and plays (peacefully and with her own toys – not the flooring!). She’s even gotten better about walks (she used to be afraid of her own shadow and that’s not an exaggeration). I would say these last about 4 hours or so for our 10 lb girl and then I come home and walk her at lunch and head back to work so I give her one more to get her through the rest of the afternoon. She is happier than ever. Highly recommend these!!
